Kari Krause, Executive Director

Kari Krause comes to Azura with a plethora of experience. She is a double alum from Alverno College with a bachelor’s degree in Community Leadership and a master’s degree in organizational development. Kari started her professional career in the non-profit field raising funds and holding events for individuals of varying disabilities and diseases. She has now been in the Senior Living field for about 4 years. Many of those years had an emphasis on sales and marketing with administration, caregiving and even cooking for her residents.

In her personal life, Kari has 3 children. A son who is 18 and attending Concordia University majoring in Athletic training, a 20 year old daughter who is a Firefighter for the village of Grafton as well as a dispatcher for Ozaukee County and a 28 year old daughter who has a severe form of epilepsy and is cognitively disabled and is truly the reason Kari has lived the life she has. Kari also is the proud fur mom of 4 dogs; 2 samoyeds, a Staffordshire terrier and a chihuahua.

Kari is so honored and proud to be a part of the Azura team and is so thankful for the amazing support system she’s had so far.
