Rita’s Bowling Dream

Let the good times roll! Azura Memory Care resident, Rita, had the opportunity to bowl again thanks to our MOSAIC Dreams program and our partnership with Second Wind Dreams. When Rita was asked what her best day would be, she wanted nothing more than to bowl again in a league after being an avid bowler her entire life. Rita bowls on the Wii at Azura Assisted Living and Memory Care of Brookfield on a daily basis, and has even taught other residents how to play! On Friday, July 30, at 6:00 PM, the Sunbird Mix League joined Rita at Bowlero in Wauwatosa, WI to fulfill her dream of bowling with a league again. The USBC also presented Rita with a lifetime membership award, and one of Rita’s old league mates surprised her, too! Rita had a wonderful day knocking down pins and reminiscing on her days as a bowler. We are so happy this dream came true for this special lady!
