Judy’s Published Author Dream

At 80 years old, Judy Clough had a lifelong dream of becoming an author—but she never thought it would come true. That is, until her daughter encouraged her to publish her story, Pembutton and Griseldinea.

With the help of Azura’s MOSAIC Dreams Program, Judy connected with a publisher, and soon her book was a reality—illustrated by her grandchildren.

But the real magic happened when Judy visited Sugar Creek Elementary to share her story with second graders. The kids were captivated, asking questions and showing excitement for the lesson of growing up, fitting in, and being yourself.

Judy’s journey is a beautiful reminder that dreams have no expiration date. With the support of her Azura family, her husband, and her grandchildren, Judy showed us all that it’s never too late to make a dream come true.
