Josh McClellan is the Founder and current CEO of Azura Living.
Azura was formed in 2008, with the purpose of transforming the culture of care.
Prior to founding Azura, Josh was the Founder and President of
McClellan Health Systems Inc. (MHS), located in Perrysburg, Ohio. Through
strategic acquisitions and development, MHS grew from a single, skilled nursing
facility to a leading regional healthcare provider, operating six full service
retirement communities and caring for over 650 residents. The company
philosophy was simple: create a supportive family environment where staff
members and residents are treated with dignity and respect, and encouraged to
celebrate life each day.
As President of MHS, Josh was responsible for the direction and
leadership of over 700 MHS staff members and an operation budget of over $35
million. MHS offered a full range of senior care options including skilled nursing,
rehabilitation, assisted and independent living services. In June, 2006 Josh successfully negotiated the sale of all MHS communities to Trilogy Health Services of Louisville, Kentucky.
