Dalilla shares, “Growing up, my grandparents made a significant impact in my life in their role of helping raise me. I appreciated the life lessons, love, and invaluable moments we shared together. The relationship I had built with them also built my soft heart for the elderly. I knew at a pretty early age that I had wanted to be a nurse and work with the elderly population. I have been working in healthcare for 20 years. Starting with private home care, then became a CNA, and now have worked as a nurse for the last 13 years. My experience has been in assisted living, skilled nursing, and long term acute care settings. I come to Azura to help contribute to the core values and mission statement that Azura promotes. After losing my grandfather to Alzheimer’s disease, I wanted to make a difference in those who were suffering from the disease personally and those whose family members were affected by it. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, hiking, fishing, listening to music, and spending time with my three children and our dog.”
