Elda is our Regional Director of Operations and oversees the teams in six of our Azura homes.
Prior to joining Azura Memory Care, Elda worked as a CBRF Administrator for many years. Her love for the elderly and, more specifically, those with Alzheimer’s and related dementias began at a young age when she took a job as a CNA in a memory care facility.
With nearly two decades of experience in memory care, Elda has a combination of knowledge, skills and personal awareness to effectively meet the needs of individuals with dementia and to foster a great team of caregivers.
Elda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and subsequently a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UW-Milwaukee. In addition, Elda is a Certified Dementia Care and Behavior Specialist and Instructor, who loves developing relationships and personal approaches with residents. She is a Certified Standard Precautions Instructor and holds a certificate in Gerontology.
Elda believes that family is the most precious thing in life and enjoys spending time with hers whenever she is not at work.
